Who Moved My Cheese?

Each day brings change of one type or another. You certainly are not alone when it comes to experiencing change. Change happens to everyone. The good news is: Change can lead to something better. This program offers a helpful and even motivational perspective on change.

In this session you will:

• Gain a motivational perspective to help change the way you look at change
• Define your attitude about change
• Identify what can inspire you to deal with change

April Meeting:

Amy Glines, LSCWS, LCAC, Clinical Director of CMHCCC will be talking about "Mental Health First Aid". It will be located at the Crawford County Mental Health Center at 3101 N Michigan, Pittsburg. Meeting will start at 12pm and lunch is TBD.

The March 21^st meeting, program only, will be sponsored and held at Commercial Main Bank, 1901 Main Street at noon. The speaker will be Alicia Voltmer, on Insights to Disability Accommodations. Alicia Voltmer is a Board Certified Labor and Employment Law Attorney.

The January SEKHRA meeting will be held Thursday, January 24, noon at Labette Health, 1902 S US Hwy 59, Parsons.

The program topic is Leading with Change. Dr. Mark Johnson, PSU professor, Technology and Workforce Learning. The objective of this presentation is to describe the concept of change, the levels of innovation, explain the difficulty of thinking outside the box, and to identify 4 different ways to change.

Business meeting and program- What's Going On with Health Care Reform- Time for an Annual Check up. Presenter Steven Smith from Hinkle Law Firm, Wichita, KS. Steven specalizes in helping employers comply with the ACA and other laws affecting employer provided benefits. The objective of this presentation is to update empoloyers on the IRS's enforcement of the ACA penalties, talk about wellness programs and the IRS, changes to the exchange, and how the ACA has changed since being enacted.

Susan Lang, from the Wichita office of the Department of Labor. will present on FMLA and FLSA. There will be a question and answer time and handouts for attendees. This is a guest meeting so feel welcome to ask your payroll person to attend.
